Cardcounter comes in a free trial version that allows 200 cards to be played before it shuts down. This amount of play is meant for you to evaluate the software, not necessarily a recommended amount of practice play.

Save the program in a temporary directory and then run it. It is a self extracting file. It will create several files in the windows/temp directory and install itself in the folder you choose.

The program you download will allow you to play 200 cards.
After that it must be registered to work.

If you would like to register the program to continue to use it then:

Run the program and click on the help menu and select about.
This screen will give you your registration number.
